With more than two decades of experience specializing in actors ages 5–25, I’ve built my career around discovering new talent and guiding young actors throughout their journey.
My journey into talent management began in 2003, when my six-year-old son Kurt was discovered by an acting coach and introduced to top Hollywood agent Cindy Osbrink. Kurt quickly established himself as a working actor, booking more than 30 national commercials and numerous television roles, including According to Jim, ER, Scrubs, The Goldbergs and Young Sheldon, among many others. He starred as a series regular on Ruby & the Rockits alongside Austin Butler and David Cassidy, and appeared in feature films including Knucklehead with Melora Hardin and Role Models starring Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott.
Soon after arriving in Hollywood, I began working at a boutique management company. For the next 15 years, I helped shape the careers of upcoming stars while building my own roster and learning the industry from the business side. In 2019, I decided to pursue my own path, founding Doss Talent with a mission to empower young actors and their families to navigate the ups and downs of the industry by giving them the tools, support and opportunities they need to succeed.
My experience as a mom and a manager became the foundation for my work: pursuing dreams and building strong careers while having fun and adventure along the way.
Doss Talent proudly represents an accomplished roster of actors who have appeared in award-nominated and award-winning series, including Mad Men, Shameless, The ‘Burbs, Will Trent, Suburgatory, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Man with a Plan, Fresh Off the Boat, Marvel’s Runaways, Lovecraft Country, Unbelievable, Made for Love, Shining Vale, Gordita Chronicles, Pretty Freekin Scary and General Hospital, among many others.
Our clients have also landed lead and supporting roles in notable feature films, such as Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Robert Rodriguez’s We Can Be Heroes, 21 Bridges with Chadwick Boseman, Sweetwater with Jeremy Piven, Cheaper by the Dozen with Gabrielle Union and Onslaught with Adria Arjona, arriving this fall.
They have appeared in hundreds of commercials for brands from Apple to Zeposia and everything in between.
Their extensive list of voiceover credits includes lead roles in DreamWorks’ Doug Unplugs, Universal Kids’ Little People, Dear Squad on Nick Jr., The Loud House on Nickelodeon, Tig & Seek for HBO, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures on Disney+ as well as a new DreamWorks animated series premiering this fall.
Our actors have also earned Young Artist Award and Children's & Family Emmy Award nominations.
I’m known for being accessible and genuinely invested in my actors. I collaborate closely with top talent agencies, including Osbrink, CESD, LA Talent, DDO, AKA, Mavrick and others, to ensure my clients receive the best opportunities across TV, film, commercials, voiceover, print and theatre.
I believe great management starts with really knowing the artist’s strengths and goals so I can help them make smart choices and push them to grow. From discovering new talent to developing their careers and elevating them as they take the next steps, I bring experience, honesty and a hands-on approach to every relationship.
